While the Open Championship (erroneously called the British Open by many of us yanks here in the US) is my favorite major tournament of the year, I would have to say the US Open is the most entertaining. Where else can you watch professional golfers make double bogeys and look like regular hacks? The word from the Golf Channel is that Pinehurst is looking just as tough as Shinnecock Hills was last year. First tee times are tomorrow morning at 7am.
