Actually, these are two separate subjects, although they could be one and the same knowing what happens at Mardi Gras. I have seen a few news stories recently about the smaller than normal Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans this year. As usual, some people have a problem with it. Isn't that always the case, though? Someone always has to have a problem with something. These people went through one of the worst natural disaters in US History and have been trying to put their lives back together for months. After going through all that shit, I think they deserve to relax for a while, blow off some steam, and get drunk. Drink up, New Orleans...the Margarita Lounge has your back.
I also saw a story today about a streaker running across the ice at the Bronze Medal game for curling at the Olympics today. In case you don't know, curling is that funny game where the participants slide the big rocks down the ice while two teammates with brooms sweep the ice in front of the rock. After a lengthy search for a better picture of the streaker, this was all I could find. I guess the media doesn't encourage showing men running around in public naked...not that anyone would really want to see that. I personally think that streaking is hilarious and should happen more. Even K-Daddy did some streaking at the original Margarita Lounge years ago. The problem is that these streakers are almost always out of shape dudes. Why can't some good looking women get caught streaking? Just some food for thought....
